All content areas and all grade levels can use the free iPad app, Educreations to extend the core curricula for gifted learners! The app enables students to publish videos that contain their voice, text features, and images. And, the final product is easily embedded in any website for the world to enjoy.
Videos can ... analyze a Shakespeare script, compare/contrast scientific principles, tell a ‘How To’, explain complex math problems, or provide a persuasive perspective in social studies. Think ... Khan Academy, but the videos are in your students’ own voice in all content areas! If possible, participants should bring an iPad withthe Educreations app already installed to this breakout session.
